September Mom of the Month!

Brooke has worked extremely hard over the last couple of months at Stroller Strides. She also gives you a sneak peak at what can be accomplished in our newest results based class called BODY BACK that will begin this FALL. Way to go Brooke!


Brooke's 25 Things:
1. I was born December 29, 1979 in Richmond Virginia

2. I have never lived anywhere other than Richmond... yes even college!

3. I have two beautiful, smart, loving and funny girls. Ava Elizabeth will be four in November and Lucy Anne just turned one this past May.

4. I met my husband David through mutual friends in 2003.

5. David and I got married September 24, 2005 and my father offered him money to change his last name instead of me changing mine... HAHA

6. I do not want anymore children. Although I love love love children I was just so sick with both pregnancies.

7. I am ADD... a lot of y'all probably know that

8. I think that I am funny which is annoying.

9. I love projects

10. I hate painting because I think that it is mind numbing

11. I have an older brother named Matt Gunn. He is VP of Classic Kitchens of Virginia.

12. I love the colors pink and green

13. I worked at The Pink Palm (the Lilly store) for about 5 years. Then for the family business, CKV until I had Ava.

14. I think that I am preppy... No wait! Really Preppy.

15. My husband was not preppy at all until he met me. He never owned a pair of kaki pants until we were married. Seriously honey you live in Richmond!!! Well he did grow up in Lynchburg.

16. I was a cheerleader and got to travel all over for competitions.

17. I played softball FOREVER and made the All - Star team for TLL and got to travel a bit with that.

18. I like to play tennis.

19. I hate being late because I like to be in the know.

20. I have a little dog named Layla. She is just as hipper as me and my husband LOVES it... well no. When I got her and brought her home my husband said "Well, Brooke what is it?"

21. When we found out I was pregnant with Ava my husband looked and me and said and I quote "Well congratulations." Then I said "Thanks hon I did it all by myself." SILLY SILLY men... Gotta love them!

22. I joined Stroller Strides in the fall of 2009. I thought that it was a joke until I went to the first class. The next morning David had to pull me out of the bed by my feet!!

23. When my husband says "No" he really means "Yes"... In my head!

24. I love my life!!

25. I am thankful everyday for my family, my friends and my life. I am living my dream!!
